With the first Noble Truth being "Suffering" or that which is difficult to bear, there is a danger in Buddhist practice of overlooking the beauty and happiness that are part of human life.

The Buddha taught that there are four fields of happiness available to us:

  • The Happiness of the Senses
  • The Happiness of living an"upright" life
  • The Happiness of a Concentrated mind
  • The Happiness of Insight, letting go, awakening and allowing the world to be as it is.

The talk also covers questions about trauma.
